Frequently Asked Questions 

What items will you take?

We will take almost everything - even items like refrigerators, air conditioners, mattresses and TVs that need to be recycled.  But we'll take them and dispose of them properly. Items that need to be recyled will require a separate charge.

What items will you not take?

We will take everything else as long as it fits safely in our truck, except for paint and hazardous waste.

Do I need to be at home when you arrive?

Not necessarily. If you have a simple pickup and everything is accessible on your driveway or curbside, we can do that job without you being there.  On the other hand, clean-ups require some direction from you.

How long will the pick-up take?

This depends on the job.  Driveway or curbside pick-ups are just a few minutes.  Clean-ups may take longer, but we work fast.

How precisely can we schedule the appointment?

We will give you an appointment time for our arrival.  You can count on our guys to be there as scheduled.

What will you do with my junk?

We dispose of everything responsibly.  We recycle and donate as much as we can, and some items are recycled back into the community.  We adhere to all regulations for environmentally friendly disposal.

How does the pricing work?

Our pricing is simple, its $150 for the first 500 pounds, $300 for up to 1000 pounds, and $350 to fill our truck with up to ONE TON!  Don't know how much you have?  Give us a ring and we will help you determine your total weight.

Are there any extra costs?

Here in New England there are certain items that the state has deemed a "core item", basically they are items that the state says have to be recycled. Examples would be televisions, mattresses, tires, batteries, etc. A full list of core items can be found on our pricing page. We charge what the Transfer Stations charge, that would be the only extra cost.
